How much does it cost to have lights and decorations installed?
The cost of having your lights installed, serviced, removed, and stored is based on the linear feet of lights your display needs, so every home and business is different depending on your roof, flowerbeds, and the other areas you want lit. You can invest as much or as little as you like. Your free estimate gives you several options for lighting and for decorations like wreaths and garland. Wreaths are priced by size, garland by the number of feet needed. Christmas decor and lighting packages start at $700.
What is the cost of storing the lights and decorations?
Storage is included. All of our Christmas lighting programs are all inclusive. When we take your lights and decorations down, everything is labeled with your address and where it was installed on your home, so next season it all goes back up in the same place unless you ask for a change.
What is the difference between your lights and what is available at local stores?
We only use commercial grade LED lights that are custom fit to your home and designed to last longer. We use 1000 foot spools of wire that we custom cut to fit every gutter and gable on your home for a professional appearance. It is the same wiring used in amusement parks and holiday lighting displays across the country.
Can you install the Christmas lights I already have?
If your lights came from a retail store, we can not. If you have commercial grade lights that you believe are similar in quality to ours, we are happy to look at them and let you know if we can work with them.
Installation & Service
Will I need an electrician to add outlets outside my home?
In most cases you will not need more than one circuit for your holiday lighting display. We only use energy efficient LED lights, and a typical house with 15 amp breakers can safely handle about 1500 lights. Large commercial or residential displays may need additional circuits, which can usually be found within the existing wiring of the building.
Do I need to be home for the quote or installation?
No. Unless you have very specific ideas about how you want your home decorated, you don't need to be there for the installation or the quote. For the quote, we will leave you a detailed quote form with all of your options.
What if a light stops working or gets knocked down?
If a bulb burns out or gets damaged, or a falling limb knocks a string of lights down, just give us a call. We will come out and repair, replace, or re-hang the lights at no additional charge.
When do you take down the lights?
We begin taking down Christmas lights and decorations the first week of January. If you have a special request for when your lights come down, contact our office and we will be happy to work with your schedule.
